UL Canada develops and publishes Technical Documents such as Technical Specifications, Technical Guides and Technical Reports in accordance with the National Technical Specifications Process of Standards Council of Canada (SCC). The ULC Technical Documents are intended to address rapidly changing environment and innovation in technology, business or regulation where speed of delivery rather than full consensus, is of paramount importance. They are to be developed in areas that are not typically regulated, for immediate use, and where an ORD or standards activity may be already underway.
