ULC’s Fire and Security Systems Group is comprised of a unique group of knowledgeable staff responsible for new work investigations, followup audits, interfacing with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs), government bodies and insurance providers in addition to providing public relations information, educational seminars and presentations to clients and other interested parties.  These services come together to assure that systems covered by ULC certificates are highly reliable and properly installed and serviced in accordance with the applicable National Codes.

ULC offers AHJs, government bodies and insurance providers a variety of services to help integrate the use of certificates into code compliance management, loss control and underwriting processes. This includes various printed reports as well as free on-line access to ULC’s Certificate Verification Service giving authorities access to the latest information in our certificate database.

In addition to our team, ULC Regulatory Services and Customer Service staff are also available to serve your needs.  UL Knowledge Services also offers public and private workshops on Fire and Security systems and installations.
