20150422 – CPSC Recall of ThinkPad Notebook Computer Battery Packs, Recall Release 15-117..

In cooperation with the CPSC and Health Canada, Lenovo is expanding their previous recall of battery packs for their Lenovo ThinkPad computers. The battery packs can overheat, posing a fire hazard. Lenovo has received four reports of battery packs overheating and damaging the battery pack, the computer and surrounding objects. One report of a burn to a consumer has been received.

The recalled battery packs have been confirmed as UL and cUL Listed.
