UL Complimentary Lunch & Learns – Field Evaluation and Field Certification Requirements
Join us for a lunch & learn to learn about Field Evaluation requirements for electrical products, gas-fired products, and UL’s Field Certification program!
ULC’s Field Evaluation Program is intended to provide the means for evaluating electrical and gas-fired products in the field, to requirements of following Codes:
- Panel Shop Ordinary Locations and Explosion Proof as per CSA C22.2 No. 14
- UL/ULC 2200 – Standard for Stationary Engine Generator Assemblies
- B149.3 – Code for the Field Approval of Fuel-related Components on Appliances and Equipment
- SPE-1000 – Model Code for the Field Evaluation of Electrical Equipment
The Model Codes contain requirements that address the minimum construction, marking, and test requirements that are consistent with maintaining the level of safety for electrical and gas-fired products. ULC is accredited by Standards Council of Canada as an Inspection Body to deliver such services in Canada.
You will leave the event with an overview of ULC’s Field Evaluation and Field Certification services, which can help to reduce costs, save time to market, and ensure your products are accepted by the provincial and territorial authorities in Canada.
