20151208 – CPSC Recall of Technical Consumer Products (TCP) and Great Value LED Lamps (Recall Release 16-054, 12/8/2015).

CPSC, Health Canada and Technical Consumer Products announced the recall of 25,000 Technical Consumer Products (TCP) and Great Value LED Lamps. (1,350 sold in Canada) The recall indicates that water can enter the lamp in wet location applications, posing an electrical shock to the user. Technical Consumer Products has not received any reports of consumer incidents or injuries related to the use of these lamps. The recalled lamps were eligible to bear the cULus Mark.
